FAQ  > Mail  > Mail management > How do I read my mail?

You can read your mail with mail software such as Outlook, Eudora, The Bat !, Netscape Composer, ... These allow you to read and write your messages without being connected to the Internet. The parameters you have to specify in your mail program are Login :username%domainname.be, password: the one provided by the person who created the email address, POP server: mail.domainname.be, SMTP server: mail.domainname.be

Here is an example: take the user jsmith who works for the company mycompany.be, his email address is jsmith@mycompany.be. The login he needs to enter in his mail program is jsmith %my company.be, POP server: mail.mycompany.be, SMTP server: mail.mycompany.be. The password is provided by the person who manages the domain emails.

To read your mail through a Web interface (eg.Hotmail), you have to go to the address http://webmail.ebusiness.be/cgi-bin/sqwebmail.
You have to enter your email address and your password. ! It’s your email address you have to enter and not your login as is the case for a mail program. This web interface allows you to create files and manage an address book.
